WHO I AM. WHAT I DO.

My name is Frank Yoo, and I am a UI designer living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have 8+ years of user-centered design experience, predomiantly focused on consumer-facing web products. The scope of my work includes interaction and visual design, as well as product strategy and simple prototype development. I’ve had the opportunity to create a variety of online experiences for 600 million Yahoo! users, as well as simple marketing communications for smaller niche audiences. I am resourceful, I am scrappy, and I enjoy the challenge of translating user needs and complex functionality into simple, engaging web applications. The struggle is part of my process, and it's how I learn and grow as a designer and problem solver.

Originally from Long Beach, CA, I've lived on both coasts and spent a few years in the midwest. I'm a technology geek, part-time runner, bike enthusiast, and avid Lakers and college football fan. I also like spending time with my friends, my family, and my Boston Terrier, Arial.
